Misty’s "Chocolate Heaven- Puddin Cake"
INGREDIENTS:
1 ¼ Cup Granulated Sugar (divided)
1 Cup Gold Medal All-Purpose Flour
½ Cup Hershey’s Cocoa (divided)
2 tsp. Baking Powder
¼ tsp. Salt
½ Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Margarine or Butter (melted)
1½ tsp. Vanilla extract
½ Cup Brown Sugar
1¼ Cup Hot Water
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat Oven 350º
2. Mix ¾ Cup Sugar, Flour, ¼ C. Coca, Baking Powder, Salt.
Stir in Milk, Butter, and Vanilla; beat w/spoon
Pour batter into ungreased 9 in-square baking pan.
3. Mix remaining ½ Cup granulated sugar, brown sugar & remaining ¼ Cup cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter.
Pour hot water over top. DO NOT STIR
4. Bake 35-40 Min, or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 minutes
Serve in dessert dishes spooning sauce from bottom….YUM!
